Dr. Baram has spent her career studying how early experience shapes the brain and influences adult emotions and behavior. Her group found that consistent, predictable moments refine the brain connections behind reward and happiness. She will describe her new UC Irvine study of nearly 30,000 Orange County children, what it means for families, and why our ordinary daily rhythms carry more weight than we think.
